The proposed trip to Cameron is cancelled. Chris has recall manning that weekend. Oh well.
On the RC front the prodigal son returns to RC racing. Once again my old warrior is prepped up to try and do well at racing, this time its going to be on carpet at Choa Chu Kang, and half the weekend is spent setting up my car in anticipation of the Dec 7th race.

Work taking precedence over private life now and it seems that the demands of the job require OT. Well there's a long weekend coming up in early December, so let's see about getting a ride going up north again. Cameron Highlands is probably the target. Set off on Thursday night, sleep off the travel on Friday, ride Friday and Saturday, and home on Sunday. Might just work.

It is nice to wake up in the morning and see the clouds stretch out before you and the ground fall away beneath you. The hours spent driving to Genting and the aggravation of getting lost and traffic jams seem insignificant when you get views like this.

Arse luck seems to rub off on me.
Let's hope things get better; they can't get any worse, I think.
And I'm going away for a vacation, that should be something to smile about, at least.

Everything looks so uphill now. I'm wondering if I should endeavor to complete the climb. The gradient isn't too friendly, and the altitude means lack of oxygen and thus I can't exert myself as hard. But what's at the top of the hill? The climate's cool, and the view is excellent. Probably.
You will never know.
An exerpt from the Old Man and the Sea:
"I wanted to take him fishing but I was too timid to ask him. Then I asked you to ask him and you were too timid."
"I know. It was a great mistake. He might have gone with us. Then we would have that for all our lives."
