I had left my car parked under a tree
near their office when I visited one of my company's remote stations yesterday. While doing some field work, a storm brewed up, so we all headed back to the office to wait out the storm, when one of the staff came in and asked,
"Does the silver car belong to anyone?"
"Err, I drive a silver car" (storm plus tree means falling branches that could've hit my car)
"Toyota Yaris, right?"
"Uh...... yeah? Tell me a branch didn't fall on top of it!" (My finger is on the panic button)
"Branch? No lah, nice looking car arrr?"
I didn't know to be relieved or pleased......
