Johnnie Walker
So I opened a new bottle of Johnnie Walker tonight to get my nightcap.
Its probably my tenth or eleventh bottle since I got here.
And it'll probably also be my last.
The weather is simply too hot to drink that stuff neat once I'm back in Singapore.
But, since I'm not really wishing to work in Singapore,
I also hope it won't be my last.
Its not because I am addicted to drinking, I've grown used to the life here. I'm probably so out of touch with life back in Singapore, yet I don't know how much. Its been a year and a half since I've gone home, things back there have moved on, while I've moved on here in Brisbane in some kind of parallel timeline, yet my memory of Singapore expects that it would have remained the same as I've left it.
Wishful thinking.

If you enjoy the trip, the destination isn't important
