It never rains but it pours
I'm not really big phone user, not while I'm here, since most of my contacts are made online. Basically the phone is just something which I use when I'm not at my computer.
So there I was making my once-a-week call to mom, when I get called to the door twice - once to receive a package, once to answer the telephone repairman for the other phone line in the house, when my mobile phone rings - twice. One's the housemate, and the other's my mechanic whom I have been trying to reach for the past week. I'm trying to speak to the phone repairman, while mom is still on the line, wondering what was going on here, reminding me to keep an eye on him while he is in Mark's room just in case something goes missing.
For a guy who doesn't get that many visitors or phone calls in a day, that many things happening at once, is a little, um, overwhelming.
