Looking......and looking
Bought a new camera recently. OK, well its not brand new; I bought it secondhand. What it is however is better than the previous camera I had, and which still have. Having arrived at some decision of what I really liked to shoot was one of the motivations for this purchase.
And so better it is, I get better, sharper, more focused shots, interesting shots. And they aren't hard to get, unlike with the G3. There's little shutter lag, the predictive auto focus all conspire to give me stacks of usable pictures. Truly a wonder the first day I started using it. But after a while, the excitement of getting THE shot wore off. It seems prideful to say that I've improved, or the camera is better, maybe a combination of the two, but its true. There is no longer the feeling of elation at getting a good shot. If you don't have to work hard for it, you won't treasure it.
It is perhaps human nature, that once you arrive at a destination, there would always be a tendency to look for your next goal......
